The Croix Blanche

The Croix Blanche

Catering

La Croix Blanche has existed for 400 years. The route of travelers along the Via Francigena was covered on foot, on the back of a mule or horse until 1800 when the engineers of the Napoleonic army traced the new road of the Gran S. Bernardo. With the advent of stagecoaches, the house was enlarged to create stables for horses and carriages. This ancient 3268km path that leads from Canterbury to Rome was declared a “European Cultural Route” in 1994. La Croix Blanche is managed by the Bertin family, who has always dealt with catering and hospitality.
