Altarese Glass Art Museum - Villa Rosa

The Museum of Glass Art collects evidence of the centuries-old art of glass in Altare and, thanks to the collaboration with contemporary artists and designers, contributes to continuously increasing the museum collection.

Villa Rosa , an Art Nouveau building from the early 1900s, inhabited until 1992 when it was purchased by the State, restored to its original splendor and used as the seat of the Museum.
Today Villa Rosa is a cultural center that flanks the Museum with the Specialized Glass Library and hosts exhibitions, seminars and other cultural activities.
