Pastoral Museum

The Shepherding Museum of Castelsaraceno represents a unique example in the Lucanian demo-ethno-anthropological museum panorama. Temple of local identity, space for meeting and discussion, the Museum is an innovative and dynamic place, welcoming the visitor is, in fact, an exhibition itinerary which is equipped with the most modern technology for the use of cultural heritage in order to guarantee a full cognitive immersion capable of transforming the museum exhibition into an experience. The emotional journey-experience that the Museum offers branches into four themes developed in the respective exhibition rooms: the room of Time, Space, Knowledge and Memory of pastoral culture.
