Mount Zingarello

Mount Zingarello

Hospitality

Once called “Cozzo Zingarello”, because the gypsies camped there. It is a panoramic point and destination for walks, from which you can enjoy a splendid view of the panorama of Calvera and the Serrapotamo Valley. At the extreme tip a cross was placed in the second half of the twentieth century, at the time in iron, on the initiative of Dr. Cosimo Milanese and several benches. Since then, it has been the main stage of the Good Friday procession, which starts from the Chapel of San Gaetano. Over the years, several changes have been made including the raising of a luminous cross and the creation of a gravel driveway with underground spotlights.
