Small candle-eye museum and ancient school library

Small candle-eye museum and ancient school library

Arts/Culture/Events

It was born from a private initiative. The founders are Clara Mangione and her daughters, Antonella and Roberta Muzio who is also the director and member of the Icom (International Council of Museums). The headquarters is on the ground floor of the old family house, along the main artery of the ancient village, where some of the events told in the "narrating museum" took place. The carriage, the museum's logo, is the symbol of female emancipation ante litteram from which the route takes its inspiration. Women thus become protagonists of rituals and rules, leaving traces in the genealogy, names, symbols and development of the microhistory represented. Reviewed by the Touring Club.
